With the PRIMAR M42, WIKUS defines new standards also in the basic tool segment. The innovative manufacturing process guarantees good product properties and a surprising service life - with a wide range of applications. Thanks to high reliability, it achieves low cost per cut.

As a basic range, the PRIMAR M42 is aimed at cost-conscious customers and is particularly suitable for use in workshops or smaller industrial plants. The product impresses with a particularly favourable price/performance ratio.

Another advantage is the wide range of sizes, tooth pitches and geometries, so that the band saw blade can be used on all common band saw machines and cover the vast majority of cutting operations with one type.

Special surface treatment for extra smooth rounding of the tooth gap to prevent belt cracking.
Variable tooth pitch with 5 tooth interval for optimum chip separation and reduced stress on the cutting edge.
Body made of alloy steel with high flexibility. Special surface treatment ensures less friction in the guides.
A suitably adapted rake angle facilitates cutting into the material, here a positive rake angle.
Our manufacturing process ensures specially rounded cutting edges and prevents micro cracks.
High-alloy tool steel with a hardness of 69 HRC allows cutting materials up to tensile strength 1000 N/mm².
