PROFLEX M42 — The perfect saw blade for profiles and pipes

With the PROFLEX M42 bimetal band saw blade, we further enhance our portfolio for cutting beams and profiles. The PROFLEX M42 achieves maximum stability thanks to both the special profile tooth and the extended connection between the cutting material and the blade body. The special profile tooth features a positive rake angle and a reinforced back. This reduces the susceptibility to tooth breakage and vibration when cutting profiles.

The high durability of the PROFLEX M42 band saw blade results from the very stable tooth geometry. In addition, the new innovative manufacturing process with superfinish significantly extends the life of the blade body and thus reduces the risk of breakage. The optimised sharpness of the cutting edges and the special tooth setting lead to increased performance.

Another step to improve the already great features of this tool is the coating offered by the PROFLEX PREMIUM M42 type. This results in a significant increase in the service life as well as the performance of the band saw blade.

Variable tooth pitch with 5 tooth interval for optimum chip separation and reduced stress on the cutting edge.
Body made of alloy steel with high flexibility. Special surface treatment ensures less friction in the guides.

High-alloy tool steel with a hardness of 69 HRC allows cutting materials up to tensile strength 1000 N/mm².
