MARATHON M42 — The all-rounder for small and large cross sections

The MARATHON M42 is the epitome of an economical saw blade with a wide range of applications and consistently high quality. This bimetallic band saw blade is designed for customers with more intensive cutting processes and where tool reliability is a desirable asset, for example in industrial plants.

Superfinished band saw blade and sharp cutting edges increase the life and improve the quality of the cutting surface. The smooth surface of the blade also protects the machine guides and increases its resistance to wear. The new manufacturing process, among other things, also guarantees extremely precise tooth distribution and improved flatness of the saw blade body.

Special surface treatment for extra smooth rounding of the tooth gap to prevent blade cracking.
Variable tooth pitch with 5 tooth interval for optimum chip separation and reduced stress on the cutting edge.
Body made of alloy steel with high flexibility. Special surface treatment ensures less friction in the guides.
The positive rake angle makes it easier to cut into the material and forms the chip better.
Specially rounded cutting edges ensure a consistently long service life.
High-alloy tool steel with a hardness of 69 HRC allows cutting materials up to tensile strength 1000 N/mm².
